Research projects to better understand our Ocean

At Océanolab, science and outreach come together. Every year, a marine research project takes up residence in this unique laboratory. Located in the heart of Océanopolis, Océanolab is a scientific experimentation space open to all visitors.

The projects hosted here have one thing in common: they explore the effects of global changes (warming, acidification, pollution, etc.) on marine biodiversity. Thanks to innovative experimental devices, this immersive research offers valuable insights into the evolution of marine ecosystems.

You are a scientist? You want to realize your experiment “in residence” in Oceanolab ? Submit your project!

Each year, Océanolab welcomes a scientific team in residence to design, implement, and present an original research experiment.

This residency is a unique opportunity to conduct marine experiments under controlled conditions, in a location that is visible and accessible to the public. It is part of a commitment to promoting participatory science, highlighting the diversity of research professions, and contributing to a better understanding of the impacts of global change on marine biodiversity.
